Welcome to the Seattle Georgia Tech Alumni Club! After a few years in hibernation, we've been busy organizing new events for our Seattle area alums.

2008 Seattle Georgia Tech Club Scholarship Winner Announced!

We are pleased to announced that David Whittaker is the 2008 winner of the Seattle Alumni Club Scholarship! David will be attending Tech in the fall, and will be the recipient of the scholarship, which includes matching funds from the GT Alumni Association. Please help us by making a tax deductable donation to this great program, which helps us recruit students in the area who are academically strong and are leaders in their community.

Jason Varitek Signed Ball Raffle

The Seattle Georgia Tech Club is excited to kick off our 2008 fundraising by auctioning off a Jason Varitek ball!

Jason, a GT Alum and member of the 1994 College World Series championship team, has graciously provided us a signed ball! We are selling raffle tickets, the proceeds of which will go to the club's 2008 scholarship fund for $5 each.

The Seattle Georgia Tech Club will be hosting our our 2008 Spring Dinner at the Washington Athletic Club!

Steve Raible, IM 76 is our Keynote Speaker and Guest of Honor.

Georgia Tech Seattle - Washington Trails Association Work Day

The Seattle Georgia Tech Club is planning a volunteer work day this summer with the Washington Trails Association. We have a variety of options, and are looking at opportunities in July.

Events will be available for sign up in June. In the meantime, check out http://www.wta.org for more information!

Young Alumni Happy Hour @ Wilde Rover in Kirkland

Join us for drinks on the Eastside as the Young Alumni host the first in a new series of regular happy hour events. Spend time meeting other club members and enjoying a few drinks without having to drive all the way downtown.

The happy hour menu officially ends at 6PM, but we'll be there a little later. We look forward to seeing you in March!
